Oh sure, pardoning Chauvin is a great idea if the goal is to reignite protests, fuel division, and toss a bone to the Nazi movement. And for what? A meaningless gesture? A pardon wouldn’t touch his 22.5-year state sentence. So really,all it would do is fan the flames changing absolutely nothing.
