There's a difference between being a weirdo and knowing how to act in a society.
I feel more safe around weirdos who know how to act, than people who pretend to be normal but are secretly repressed.

That's an important feeling. I haven't finished an illustration in years because I didn't believe I was capable of making something I thought was good.
So I joined an Evangelion 30th anniversary collab on Newgrounds couple of days ago. The hardest part wasn't the drawing, but showing up for myself.

I feel you, I really do. I've been through my own fucked up shit over the past 5 years that nearly drove me to end my life and give up art.

It had a soft shape design that created a vibe similar to your comics.
