Springtime in the Midwest!

I wish this bush by my front steps bloomed all the time. They’re so bright pink they almost glow themselves.

Quilty mathematician help please! pattern doesn’t state and I’m fighting brain fog. If I want to make sure these are square, their UNFINISHED size should be 4.5”, right?

3.5” + 2” - 1” (for the 2 seams after sewing the pieces in rows 1st)
Pattern is Cabin Nights by Prairie Quilt Co

3 days later, I finally got all 128 of these 2” buggers all trimmed. The quilt pattern is lots of steps so I am focusing on one step at a time before jumping projects. Otherwise it’ll set in my UFO void for ever.

Also #quiltsky we need to do better with ALT imagining. Seeing too many without it

Maybe trimming all these small half square triangles for tonight’s activity was a bit overzealous. I’ve only put a small dent in them and my fingers are absolutely screaming in pain.
Need to listen to my body and rest now.

My haul from the quilt shop today! Then went next door to local restaurant for gyros with the hubby

- Water pens for foundation piecing

Bought this small organizer awhile back and it was smaller than I expected. Unsure of a use and didn’t care for the white plastic look. Found this perfect sticker on Redbubble to dress it up a bit.
It now houses my Sewline glue refills, needle and rotary blade replacements.

I’m rare! I started having symptoms of my rare auto-inflammatory disease back in 2020. A year later, after a bout of flu, 3 weeks of 103F (39.4C) fevers multiple times a day landed me in the hospital for week.
I’m rare but rare diseases aren’t rare.
