My friend’s rescue dachshund is afraid of me and growls when I come near her. She was rescued from a hoarder home and though she’s only 10 lbs and 3 yo has been bred multiple times. I’ve tried getting down to her level speaking quietly and waiting for her to come to me. She won’t take treats. Help!

Spent yesterday in Gettysburg for Remembrance Day. The full moon over the cemetery illumination was a beautiful way to close the day.
