Starbucks baristas are on strike to demand the company give workers a fair contract. As long as workers are on strike, don't shop at Starbucks.

No contract, no coffee. Period. #NoContractNoCoffee

Your Prime Day reminder that half of Amazon warehouse workers struggle with food & housing costs.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.

If Bezos can spend $50M on a wedding, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.

It has been a fun spring in the garden. Today was the day to get 8 tomatos, 5 known peppers and 2 mystery peppers that were half off, and basil in the garden . Not to mention carrot seeds and borage, marigolds and nasturtiums are already coming up. 🌱 #pnw

I took a week off this week to work on the yard. Lots and lots of maple saplings pulled in the back yard and not even half way done. Front yard got weeded and a wall built. 🌱
