Enchantment removal in mono red! A nice punisher effect, super flavorful, and in uncommon too! I think making red jump thru additional hoops to have access to unconditional removal is a good compromise.

I have never run into a card game resource system that feels like it covers all bases. Lands have screw/flood, Lorcana is just boring, Pokémon is similar to magic but smoothed a bit, and I have never been a big fan of the "resource deck." It has always felt clunky to me.

The one thing I will give to WotC is their general acceptance and championing (as much as a corp ever could) of the LGBTQ. Besides some missteps (Chandra Bi-erasure), they've been pretty good on it. Rare W.

I just swapped to Obsidian from OneNote for my game design notes. I absolutely hate searching for tutorials or tips on it cuz of the insane amount of "productivity self-help gurus" that populate the space. So many of us think an app will fix us.

We were playing DND and stopped our game twice. Once to watch the half time show and once to celebrate the birds winning. The first (and probably last) time I've ever allowed football to intrude on our game.

If a solo ttrpg asked you to mark some cards in a regular 52 card deck, would that be a deal breaker for you? Would printable stickers overcome it if it was a deal breaker otherwise?

Moved all my design and GM notes from OneNote to Obsidian. Really digging it so far, but Jesus I hate that any time I search for anything I get a productivity guru telling me how I can make a billion dollars by using tags in Obsidian. Perish, you fucks!

What's a little flourish in a TTRPG that you love? Something that has no real utility mechanically, but helps make the game distinct. I really like how Shadowdark brings titles for class levels/alignments back. Love titles in general! So flavorful.
