I don't want to shit on hope but Liberals are a hip new kind of fascism for a younger generation. 4chan was the testing ground for psychedelic fascism, a bit more obvious. But Facebook, Bluesky and the New York Times are already fascist. These protests were organized by fascists.

Anyhow so it's easy to see imperialism as a broader phenomena of moribund capitalism. Capitalism strangles its own development leaving the periphery underdeveloped. Communists have to fight imperialism/semi-feudalism and other forms of stagnation.
