To paraphrase @hcrichardson.bsky.social we are about to enter an era where two unelected billionaires decide how the USA will spend money. Think about that for 2 or 3 minutes.
How did we get here? How do we fix it? Or can we somehow attract a really big asteroid & let the whole thing respawn?

I let my election anger get the best of me and basically called a childhood friend ignorant. But, it's backed up by actual data, so I don't feel so badly anymore.
