I guess it also may depend on the kind of wax. The soy wax is really easy to scoop out with a spoon. I like to burn as low as possible on the “Final Burn” and pour out what I can into the trashcan (which then smells lovely) to get a head start. That also tends to be a good time to pry out the wick.

I like to get mine from the local candle shop since they don’t give me headaches and I love their quality.

I use my hair dryer the clean them out really well (with a little swipe of glass cleaner at the end to really get them clean- I learned that while working at the candle shop!) and then use them for holding makeup brushes, chip clips, tweezers and cuticle trimmers, buttons, pens, all sorts of things!
