I work in theater and it’s super common post show to go out for a drink. I used to love it until I hit menopause. Now alcohol either makes me exhausted or has no elevating effect. So I just don’t anymore. It’s wild to me how instantly it flipped from fun to not worth it.

I swear it used to be four writers! Is the dream dinner party shrinkflated now too? I think about the dinner party question a lot. (Shakespeare, Hanif Abdurraqib, Paula Vogel, Saeed Jones for today).

This is an outrage! Everyone knows second grade is where it’s at! Shoutout to Ms Sharon Johnson at Fulton Elementary in Minneapolis who elevated my reading game to chapter books AND taught me how to hold a pencil.

Give me a break. He spoke at the RNC. He got exactly what he wanted with the election and now he calls out greed? Can’t have it both ways pal. He let his members down and has no one to blame but himself.

I have my employer’s top tier plan that they offer. I need a colonoscopy every two years for Crohn’s disease. I’ve never paid a dime for it. This year it cost me $1,000. Insurance also wanted to deny my remicade dose. Doctors must be exhausted from fighting. I am.
