I limit it to just the 0-10 scale. Makes it easy to summon my top ten list.

I think that when I play async, I tend to focus on what the situation is right now rather than how I got there. I miss a good part of the game. So yeah, I feel I'm sacrificing awareness for convenience and my game suffers, but I don't stress about it.

Going to have to disagree with you here. Aything that cuts down on human to human interaction at a McDonald's is a win. Also, I'm more inclined to believe that the error rate is lower by removing a human from the equation. I like being my own cashier at the grocery store too.

Yeah first time I played with my regular group we got hit for 5 hope in the Shire and never recovered. Game was over in about a half hour. But then we immediately went for another round and beat it.
