good to see that other people agree with me and if you haven't watched this since you were a kid i gotta stress this isn't hyperbole: it is two full hours of all the actors screaming all their lines, often while 3-4 other people on screen are screaming ad libs over them

i had the offhand thought that the real reason people are making a mountain out of this molehill is platner has raised lots of money, but there's also some dude named jordan wood who doesn't even have a wikipedia page and has raised just as much

i enjoyed going to blockbuster in the 1990s and 2000s and also find it to be rather simple and straightforward to legally watch (without ads) nearly everything but small arthouse movies online in 2025

my kids like dinosaurs and talked me into watching the lost world (1997). remember it being painful when i saw it in the 1990s, by today's standards its (very, very) dumb fun.
