I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mohammed. Mohammed was a lawyer prior to all of this and his wife Miran was a pharmacist. Both their businesses were destroyed. They were able to move back to their home in the North with their children Ziad, 6 and Mirna, 3 but it has no roof.

They do not ask for help out of pride or display; they do so humbly, after doors were closed in their faces and all other options were exhausted. Aid is scarce and irregular, and what is portrayed in the media rarely reflects the true daily hardships they face, including the constant fear, hunger, destruction, and uncertainty. These two pictures show our home before and after the extermination war. Our house survived total destruction but suffered severe and extensive damage, barely livable. We chose to stay in it rather than move into tents, as living in tents is a disaster in every sense of the word.

I filmed a video from my home showing the destroyed neighborhood I live in. My house is heavily damaged but still somewhat livable. However, today, with the heavy rain, my home flooded as if it had no roof to protect it

The war isn’t over. Markets are flooded with Israeli goods with updated calorie labels, mostly canned, and their purpose is unclear. They’re not free; they’re sold to hungry, jobless people. Many aid groups have stopped, and assistance is now minimal, limited to a few tents in camps and schools.
