In front of the Pantheon in Rome, where myth meets stone, and grandeur meets time.
Nothing reminds us of the eternity of an idea like architecture that has withstood history for centuries.

A rare Arabic manuscript (Egypt) depicting the dissection of a horse, likely dating back to the 15th century AD (9th century AH), demonstrates the progress of Islamic veterinary medicine.  The manuscript is famous for its depiction of a horse lying on its back, known as the "al-faras al-mastuh".

One of my favorite corners of my library.
Each book here is not just ink & paper but a voice from the past, speaking, debating, and opening new horizons.

Reading history books is not about recalling past events, but about understanding how ideas, societies, and states were formed, how nations faced crises, and how concepts of power and legitimacy evolved.

Islamic heritage is not a static past, but a living network of ideas and dialogues that shaped our civilizational consciousness.
Every manuscript is a testimony to a mind that thought, questioned, and debated…
Here are glimpses from centuries-old texts yet their questions remain alive.

Shahrastānī (d. 1153 CE) not just a historian of sects, he was a cartographer of ideas.
He classified religions and doctrines with a rare rational method for his time, tracing each to its intellectual roots despite a charged sectarian climate.
