Made my own little trace finding, continuity testing brush probe out of some old multi core electrical cable. Just soldered the ends together and attached to a banana jack lead, works quite well, happy with that.

Here it is, still gives me a headache! To be filed under how not to do it!

Here is a very bad diagram of a half idea of how rewiring might work (if like the 2015 revG) 😅 still could be tested first and then if it works made more permanant... Or bight the bullet and make the Analogue board - I've still to make mine, I intend to try and hook it to my Master System too...

Been dead bugging this tiny UMLP footprint analogue switch and it is the fiddliest thing I've soldered yet, but I got there. Amen for good flux, small tweezers and a fine tipped soldering iron. Amazed there are no bridges too. Hope it works in the stereo I'm modding but that's for another night...

Decorating the tree seemed like a good time to finally open the last beer I could get from the now defunct Valhalla Brewery, Britains most northern brewery in Unst, Shetland. Best before 2020 but tasted fine to me! Cheers!
