My "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out." column has people asking a lot of questions already answered by the column.

We know if/when we have to move elsewhere, we will not have any family or friends in our new home. That’s terrifying. I don’t want to be treated like a deviant invader here in the south or elsewhere.

I mean I’d still take ‘don’t you dare open a coffee shop’ over the ‘don’t you dare do anything sexual in front of my children’ that my wife and I got when we closed on a house here in Mississippi. And we’re from here, we have family here, we were both raised in the same culture as our neighbors.

And it can come across as saying that LGBT people don’t have our own culture in the same way someone with more familial ties to a neighborhood might have. Or that we can only contribute shallow consumerism to a new neighborhood.

I started to really think about this when my wife and I were watching the recent hurricane Katrina doc and one interviewee said something like ‘I knew the gentrification was coming when they put the bike lanes in.’ and we both went 🫤🫤?? So just.. city planning??

Never heard of a therapist encouraging no contact. Heard of a lot of therapists encouraging their clients to consider if interacting with their parents frequently adds anything positive to their lives or if it just ruins their day.

This post suggests he’s aware of how his influence works and he consciously hopes it leads to being killed for criticizing him
