Anne Marie Hochhalter was 17 when she was shot on April 20th, 1999, and yesterday, she passed away from complications from a surgery related to her injury during the massacre at her high school.

Last Tuesday evening, I gave myself 3 goals to reach by 9 tonight, knowing I wouldn’t reach any of them, but that my usual mindset of “you didn’t come this far to ONLY come this far” would challenge me to reach them.
As of 20 minutes ago, all three have been achieved, 9 hours before deadline!

My cat was crying at me because I was up too late reading, and then when I finally settled down in bed, he howled at me because I didn’t leave him enough space on the side of the bed closest to the space heater for him to spread out.
I am 100% his bitch, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This is why you try to find common ground with people. We are stronger together. I am infinitely more interested in what we have in common than what divides us. We need the Tammy Lynns of the world to fight with us too.
Talking about the TikTok ban is actually turning out to be a pretty effective in road to talking to people in my rural community about distrust of the government because Tammy Lynn is pretty pissed about losing all her recipes.
