you have found a very small snake and/or worm in your internet garden. this creature is likely doing important work for your local ecosystem that is very difficult to explain or notice. this is about pronouns.
That’s a good haul!

also I mean "Jesuit" is basically a joke all on it's own lmao, whether they're stirring shit is a more reliable indicator than the SJ after the name. love these guys
October 12, 2025 at 5:43 PM
more like Rave Against the Machine
October 12, 2025 at 5:36 PM
Man can you imagine the Pope getting the news about this and going “oh man is it that Jesuit rascal from Loyola?” Oh wow this guy only just got ordained earlier this year I think?

And getting past small talk, establishing rapport is a skill! If you can get someone talking about themselves for a minute and get good enough at trivia to be able to acknowledge the way they see the world in a way they understand, you’ve already made a friend. It doesn’t take much!

oh who knows on that lol, I'd give it a 50/50 shot he sought any approval.

*dresses* in white? I can only think of one character who dresses in white and they only make cameos in 2, as I remember. I can't figure out what you're describing off the top of my head but I definitely haven't played all the FFs.

there is precedent for using it in processions, which this would be. open question as to whether it's gauche, but I think the Pope would be pretty happy about it given recent statements, so what standing does anyone else have? lol
October 12, 2025 at 2:02 AM
I think the best my brain comes to describing it is "FFXI opened a portal to the Wind Waker world"
October 12, 2025 at 1:15 AM
okay this is my first time seeing this game and my *goodness* the *aesthetic* what the hell

why are furries so powerful
October 12, 2025 at 1:13 AM
oh damn it's a real life sea lion, thought this variety of poster had gone extinct.

protip: writing five posts in a row insisting that a certain person not responding to you is evidence of some failing is not polite in any way, and certainly is not good faith debate.

and I don't mean to paper over some of the darker sides of American socialist history, I'm well aware of Francis Bellamy and other Christian nationalist socialists. but honestly I don't expect the Christians to rally back to this anytime soon anyway, as much as I miss the Bleeding Heart Liberals.

because of who it would come from. Look at who gets elevated by the most acceptable fringes in this direction: Bernie, yes, but also AOC, Zohran Mamdani, and historically Fred Hampton, MLK Jr, etc. Socialism has no path to electoral victory except via minorities, and that's proof of its health to me
October 11, 2025 at 11:20 PM
I guess to be fair, I'm not the kind of person who runs a page like that, because it takes a certain kind of know-it-all to be a public figure on this sort of thing. I think that it's perfectly acceptable that I acknowledge I *don't* know how many things would work and so leave those to others.
October 11, 2025 at 11:11 PM
hi, online socialist here, I only want it at the will of the people, and for the good of the people, especially those who disagree with me. (I mean, obviously it would suck for a few people. which is why it's all the more important that it be the will of most of the people.)
October 11, 2025 at 11:08 PM
I think it might, for the same reason that the post above assumes that rich white grandpas fought in the wars: capitalism makes the image of the nation look like the elites. breaking that propaganda would be good for us on its own. you can tell by how much certain people scream at accurate art.
October 11, 2025 at 11:02 PM
I’m sure it’s not as high budget as some of the ones you’re talking about, but it does feel high-love, if I had to try and define it
October 11, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Bocchi the Rock defined the top tier of animation for me, by being perfectly adequate like 80% of the time and then spending the last 20% doing absolutely insane single-use techniques like completely switching genres to 3D computer animation, paper cutouts on sticks, stop motion, or even more things
October 11, 2025 at 4:43 PM
…so uh, Trump’s still talking about the Insurrection Act huh? Lmao what loyalty does he expect when he can’t even keep the money coming. Does anyone here know about the Bonus Army? Or the Pennsylvania Mutiny of 1783? Soldiers demonstrating for their pay has a long history here.

maybe this illustrates it better: since we're talking about the box as a closed system, effectively we care about the average density of the box and its contents versus the density of the outside air. so yeah, I suppose it does work like boats in that way.
October 10, 2025 at 8:09 PM
heavier with the gas. the gas is not inherently lift generating, it simply holds space against atmospheric pressure using less mass than air. if the space is held structurally, then the vacuum is better for buoyancy, since you're removing mass.

Kaori……..

But also yeah kickass, I was always better at the racing than the score attacks, so I can’t even imagine this lol
October 10, 2025 at 5:20 AM
Also the weed bit is funny but I’m too autistic to riff today lmao, my bad
