I was rereading Nightwing 110 and am trying to figure out how I missed this obvious @gailsimone.bsky.social reference my first time through.😂

I'm always amused when people on dating apps think their musical tastes are broad and a bit all over the place but, really, they just listen to pop.

Accurate.

Oh, Internet Seller. You specifically featured the Marvel Horror: The Magazine Collection on your listing, ISBN and everything, but you shipped me Vol 21 of the Marvel: The Ultimate Graphic Novels Collection.

Why do you task me so? I was really looking forward to my order, too.

30% of eligible voters in Edmonton turned out to vote in the municipal election. That's...pretty shameful, really. Especially considering how many people bitch about wanting change.

Seen it twice, now. Once in IMAX. I feel like the script could have used one more pass but, overall, I think the TRON of it all is satisfying enough. Gorgeous looking film.

Kind of unsettling how much Marvel's Sons of the Serpent are basically ICE.

I've been in a real Marvel horror reading space of late and noticed the Midnight Suns game is on sale in the PlayStation store. Wondering if this will help scratch the itch or if it's just another Avengers/Super-hero game?

Holy shit! I just finished reading Beware the Creeper by Jason Hall & @cliffchiang.bsky.social & I'm just...gah, I loved it. Literally felt made just for me & deals with so many of my interests.

Paris in the '20s, Café Society, sex, art, murder, class conflict, and a dollop of history. Brilliant.

Brian Bolland posted this over on Threads. Such a great cover. His Wonder Woman work was absolutely top shelf. I would have loved to see a full-length story drawn by him.

Just got a notification that singer/songwriter, Josh Rouse, who has been making music and releasing albums for over thirty years, is now ready to sell you your next home.

I'm hoping this is a legitimate lifestyle choice and not because he can't make money in the music industry anymore.🫤

While I still prefer the domestic poster/cover art that we have, I feel this Japanese Blu-ray maybe has more of a finger on the actual spirit of Tom & Jerry. If the movie was released by a boutique studio it would be cool to include the Japanese art as an alternate image on a reversible insert.

A little birthday gift to myself just arrived in the mail, today. Happy to have finally completed my Jonny Quest collection. I now have all the television shows and films on DVD or Blu-ray (though I'm still not happy with that Cyber Insects transfer that Warner Archive released last year).

Maintaining the tradition of buying myself a sweet treat on my birthday. I had a weird craving for actual birthday cake, this year, so I went all in.

Picked up an early birthday gift for myself. $50 for the pair. It would be cooler if they had their dust jackets but I think I can live with it.

Finally completed my Madame Xanadu trade set. Randomly ran across volume four on the weekend and got it for 40% off so I couldn't say no.

In 1984, I ordered the Gremlins novelization from Scholastic Books. I remember devouring it and loving it. Yesterday, I found the novelization for Gremlins 2 while thrifting and I just couldn't not take it home. Not sure when I'll give it a read but I'm looking forward to it.

My godchild was feeling under the weather yesterday so I popped by to check on her and give her a bit of a belly rub.
