Wondering if my American friends will be okay. Since Trump got in, every news day there is something more horrific happening and it's only been four days. I worry that it's only going to get worse. Hard right-wing politicians are gaining momentum in Australia. How long until we lose democracy here?

Sitting here, staring out at the sea, I am honestly so grateful to be able to live in a beautiful place that is so serene and peaceful. Thinking about my friends in the US who are about to undergo a massive change in their country. I hope it doesn't turn out too badly for them.
