119: surprise! I oppose. Cement reputation as no fun city. Police are no fun. I want to live in a city that pays artists and musicians a living wage. I want to take my kids to play in a park that has biodiversity and culture. Numbers aren’t adding up. Arts generates 6 billion.

Plus they say in the video that they are coordinating. And neither COPE nor the Greens have announced their own mayoral candidates, so OC coming out first with an open primary seems like a great way to let the process decide what kind of candidate should lead, rather than arguing in private.

"Which means no sign of any OneCity-Green-COPE agreement." What makes you say that? Isn't the fact that OneCity is having an open primary in itself a sign that they're coordinating with COPE and the Greens? Coordinating a full slate doesn't preclude them from running multiple candidates either.

Looking this up led to the discovery that if you double-click and drag left or right, you will select whole words instead of just individual letters! Never knew this was a thing in all my years of computer geekery.
