Tbh, I was super open to the idea of Vi-O-La (it was obv not the main focus of the game, and seemed like a cool idea), but... human sidekicks are something I just cannot get behind.

The game's still a day one buy from me, but for the first time, I'm scared of how it'll turn out.

It's so rare that you ever get a game where something happens mid-game that drastically shakes up the way you play it, because everyone's so afraid to have an actual gameplay narrative, or afraid that if the player doesn't "beat the game" (another charged term) they've failed as a developer.

I've been a "computer kid" my whole life. Eventually I started using Scratch after my teacher signed me up for it, and I was hooked. I made a ton of (crappy) games, and it just spiraled from there.

Just yanked my headphones on accident and now my headphone jack is broken - I've tried everything else and narrowed it down to a pin inside the jack snapped, because it's plugged in snug to my motherboard, and other jacks work just fine.

Fun times.
