i think i solved the itchio spike that I mentioned earlier! I opened up the site on my phone and my game was at the top of the "fresh games" category
whether something that came out in october is "fresh" is debatable,, but I'll take the free promotion, no complaints there

incredibly motivating moment today: I was looking to play a game in a specific kind of niche, but couldn't think of any that fit the experience I was craving
and then I realized one of my future projects fits that desire PERFECTLY. the game I want to play is a game I've planned to make for months!
