Les hvorfor her:

Turns out history does help you understand the present
That's like four economics awards in a row with a substantial economic-history component, right? That strikes me as a remarkable shift. www.nobelprize.org/prizes/lists...

New working paper! *Female labor force participation in historical census microdata*, available at EHES: ehes.org/wp/EHES_282.... . Female labor force participation is well measured in the Norwegian 1910 Census, and the available micro data is well suited for economic analysis (with some caveats).

Media feilet TOTALT da noen finansierte Jarle Aabøs anti-MDG-kampanje.

On Norway's Constitution Day: a new, unknown "anti-war" party has ads all over the public transport system in Oslo. Financed by Russia? Who knows, political financing transparency laws are weak

We’re going to hear lots of stories about which people, policies and rhetoric are to blame for the Democrats’ defeat.

Some of those stories may even be true!

But an underrated factor is that 2024 was an absolutely horrendous year for incumbents around the world 👇
