to me it’s an issue of dignity: having a dog changed my life, and for low-income housing to ban pets essentially says that low income people don’t deserve that happiness. I pushed to have this apartment building built and I’m happy for it, but this is so unfortunate www.brackensquare.com/faq

Opinion: Everyone was “new” at some point, and even if they were born here, their family was “new” at one point too. They may have come here for work or for school. It may be a forever home, or a stop...

Very personal example: My spouse won two local elections (2021 + 2025) on an unapologetically pro-housing, pro-working class platform even though the city of Annapolis has a strong and vocal anti-housing contingent. You can run on your values (or support those who do) and show folks what's possible!
