Abuse like Epstein's proceeds w/ the premise that the victims are voiceless or can be shamed, intimidated, threatened, or discredited so iif they do try to speak up. Today they spoke up and were heard on national media. May their power continue, may accountability come for all the perpetrators.

To the brave women who spoke today about the horrors of Epstein/Maxwell, I say this:

For any legal concerns about speaking the names of people who sexually abused you and others, have no fear of legal expenses; I'm sure plenty of angry Americans will help fund you. Count me in. Get it done.

Why didn’t some of the Epstein survivors speak out earlier? “I thought someone was going to kill me,” one explained.

As another asked, “Why did the government work so hard to protect Jeffrey Epstein and not victims like me?”

I was a victim of childhood sexual abuse. Seeing these women getting the coverage and support they are this morning...brings a smile to my face. I don't see broken women. I see strong and empowered women. They. Will. Prevail.

In a metaphor that was too on-the-nose, there was a military flyover in Washington, D.C. that drowned out Epstein survivors who were speaking out.

I'm happy to report they persisted.
