Happy 6th Birthday to a woman's best friend, loyal companion, watcher-of-house-and-yard, better than a doorbell. Hard to remember when she wasn't part of my life. Extra treats today and present is coming ... fencing for back yard. Celebrating Shelby!

What a difference today is from last Monday when the ice storm had cut off power to ~ 100,000 in northern lower MI. Many still without power. Ice. Freezing people & orgs out. There's still humanity in my community. Heartwarming to see pics of Hands-Off protests. I trust we're gonna get thru.

My Spring has officially begun, regardless of the weather. Pussy willows and red twig dogwood stems. Good to remember beauty as we oppose the attempted destruction of our country.

Shelby is feeling insulted by people calling FOTUS Vladimir Putin's poodle. She says, never use the word poodle in connection with 🍑. Shelby has more integrity, loyalty, & authenticity than FOTUS will ever have. Plus, she's SMART.

Shelby says Hey to Maizy! So sad the White House won't have a dog (although in this case, it's for the best).

To offset the negative slant of my posts, here's this woman's best friend. She doesn't mind the cold or snow, as long as she can RUN. A ball is nice, too.

Nature's surprise. Started on Thanksgiving Day evening, ended on Sunday. A lot of snow, but Shelby's up for it.
