I live in no lower MI. Grew up here, but lived in Boston for many yrs. I believe that humanity is going thru a profound change for the better. The real protestors are FOTUS & his admin, putting up a fight against where we are headed. We WILL hold them accountable for their unspeakable cruelty.

#Trump is abusing his power.
I wish #Democrats would keep saying this.
Yes- affordability is very important but we have NEVER seen a POTUS abuse his power like we are witnessing today.

BREAKING: Jamal Khashoggi's widow incinerates Trump after he palled around with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and dismissed her husband's murder by saying that "things happen" and that Khashoggi was an "extremely controversial" man who a lot of people didn't like."

And then think of what a cornered psychopathic human being with the morals and instincts of a rat and control of over five thousand nuclear warheads would do.
This is a very dangerous moment for the country and the world. A cornered rat will do anything to escape.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wants air traffic controllers who are not being paid to "show up because it's their job." How about Congressional Republicans show up and do their job by ensuring all federal workers are paid, travelers are safe, and our healthcare is protected? seiu.co/482c2SH
What to know about the nationwide FAA-mandated flight reductions
The FAA has ordered a 4% reduction in operations at 40 major airports starting Friday, which will ramp up to 10% by Nov. 14.

A WaPo Editorial Bd Opinion piece: "The Democratic Shutdown Gambit." Bias against holding the GOP accountable for the shutdown. Our country is about to see huge change (I trust), including MSM. They've gone too far down trump's rabbit hole to recover trust. We've now have other excellent options.

Mamdani's victory speech "marked a new era much like the 1 that had given rise to Debs himself. After more than 40 yrs in which ordinary Americans had seen the political system being stacked against them &, over time, forgotten they had agency to change it, they had woken up." Holder: The Supreme Court is a broken institution. And it’s something that has to be part of the national conversation in ’26 and in ’28.

If there is a Democratic trifecta in 2028—and I think the possibility of that is pretty good—Supreme Court reform has to be on the table.

In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

The talk about a third term is insane. Insane that Squeaker Johnson responds to the idea, mentioning the Constitution. I'd like to know, if we had an election today for a third term, how many MAGAs would vote for him. Sadly, there're people in my area and beyond who would go for it.

Dr. Peter Attia 2023 bk: "Outlive-the Science & Art of Longevity." I didn't watch the 60 Minutes interview, but a preview showed he is charging 6 figures ea for 75 patients. People are losing SNAP & medical ins, but the focus is on a dr who charges 6 figures to age well. What is wrong with us???

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Happy about the 2026 Social Security COLA increase of 2.8%? Part B Medicare is expected to increase by 11.6%. The Administration will focus on the cost-of-living increase. This is not working out well for seniors & is why I'm supporting Dems who will bring systemic change to what is not working.

Somewhere I saw that Mike Lindell was among the new press corps for Hegseth & the Defense Dept. Didn't pay much attention bec I thought it was satire. This morning Heather Cox Richardson writes that LindellTV is part of the new group. The line between satire and reality has become way too blurred.
