I think 1880 because it was a good, mostly complete census and distanced enough to allow families to settle in. It was the first U.S. census to record household relationships, so families are recorded. And they are working in Delaware. I’ll look for the spreadsheet and send you a link.

What? It just happened. I had over 3000 on that hellhole of a place so I think a lot of them followed me over. And someone put me on a Writers Starter Pack. That helped. I don’t invest near enough time into social media anymore but I’m trying.

How did you get involved with that project? St. John’s County has a rich history.

Will do. I’ve been putting a lot of time in on WikiTree’s US Black Heritage project. They’re trying to get profiles created for every African American on the 1880 US Census.

Happy to hear Kaidankai is doing so well. This time of year must be especially busy. My wife did something similar to what you did. She switched gears. She works with abused, abandoned and neglected teens who are aging out of the system. She's also working on a family true crime, historical piece.

And while I'm at it, many thanks to Angela Yuriko Smith for helming the @horrorwritersassoc.bsky.social for the past two years. She has done much for all of us. Her future is stellar!
