We seem to have grown fearful of shaded roads. One district in the south of Brussels prefers this ugly species - specially grown to NOT provide any shade, and planted far apart to maximise space for placing air polluting devices between them. #fightheatislands

And we carefully design the space in such a way that the maximum amount of cars can be dumped on it.
