Chat bots are exponentially more accessible than your garden variety cult leader. So there is that.

The chick seems fine and was returned to the nest. The parents are understandably being very cautious but I expect them to return shortly.

Now I need to construct some kind of deterrent to avoid this in the future.

This time i just supported it and let it climb on my arm and hand, just gently repositioning it where i needed it to go. Primarily unknotting itself out of the bird box hole. It never tried to bite, musk, or turn me into a snake toilet. It was really gentle, calm, if not a bit disappointed.

In the past I have always held non venomous snakes at the back of the head to avoid a bite. I am guessing doing this makes them feel threatened and they would always musk or activate the waste disposal system. 😯

It seemed like forever but it was really just a few seconds.

Dinner and diner now separate, i walked out to the back 40 (a few hundred feet into the woods) and released the disappointed dinner guest into a tree.

I held the snake just behind the jaw and tried to encourage it to let it go with gentle pressure to the front of the upper and lower jaw. That really didn't do much. But every time the snake flexed it's upper or lower jaw I would manipulate the chick off the teeth and out a little.

We sprang into action. Got the ladder out to reach the box. You can see in the video when the box gets opened. The snake had the chick swallowed up to the wings. I hoped it hadn't been deprived of oxygen for long and decided to try and save it without hurting the snake.

To be fair, It's called Artificial Intelligence, not artificial idiocy. LoL Context? I asked on Easter Saturday, even said Easter, it was a softball. This is how conspiracy theories get started. Easter eggs killing children, lizard bunnies responsible.

Maybe they will relate to this. “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing” Luke 23:34

Good luck trying to explain it. Inevitably, once I debate them into a corner they proclaim, "what about Hillary?" Or "well Hunter Biden's laptop..."

I am not religious, but many of the whatever's are.
