Chasing OV: I'm tracking Auston Matthews' scoring pace vs. Alexander Ovechkin's career totals with updates every 10 games.
As of March 29th, 2025 (620 GP):
Matthews' lead on Ovechkin continues to shrink, from a high of +27 at the 580-game mark to +9 now (also down from last update's +11).

Overtime loss aside, the CHI/STL/CBJ games were all a step in the right direction. Woll’s giving the team confidence and Tavares is stepping up.

I’m conflicted: Robertson’s been one of the Leafs’ best, hardest-working forwards this season. You don’t want to lose that from a roster that doesn’t have much of that.
