Calling it now: a new Namco Museum collection from @digitaleclipse.bsky.social in 2026.

Jack Soo as Detective Yemana!

Gregory Sierra as Chano! (This probably could use work. By the way, Jack Soo's up next! That'll be fun!)

Annnnnd here's Hal Linden as Barney Miller.

Still goin' at it! Here's Ron Glass as Detective Harris. The color scheme kind of makes him look like Count Chocula, but there's only so much you can do with the NES color palette...

Second shot at 8-bit Vigoda-ness. Now he's got heavier eyes and the ever-present ear hair.
November 11, 2025 at 4:08 AM
Attempting NES graphics. Hey, does this look like Abe Vigoda to any of you?

I guess calling all Red Arremers "Firebrand" is demon profiling, isn't it? I don't know, they all look the same to me. Like red demons who walk like Popeye when he's about to beat up Bluto.

And yet on AtariAge...

They turned a fidget box into a controller. Uh, sure, okay?

Ow! I'm telling the Arc System Works logo you hit me!

It looks to me like the end result of a fight between Bugs Bunny and the Line Man from the Great Space Coaster.

Eliott Gould looks like he should be playing Spike Spiegel in a 1970s version of Cowboy Bebop.

Adult Swim... created your entire childhood. Well, there's your problem right there. Adult Swim was never intended for children! It's an ADULT programming block!

An Operation Hibernation player named Jens Restemeier actually made a physical cartridge for the little-seen Spectravideo computer (the template for the more popular MSX computer line). I didn't realize fans of this system were this dedicated to it!

With its wedge-like shape devoid of contours, you'd think the ZX81 would make a better doorstop than a computer. Then after you use one, you're absolutely sure of it.

Even Guile from Street Fighter is impressed with @levarburton.bsky.social 's hairdo in this episode of Murder She Wrote.

Don't mind me, just working on a title screen for my SAROO.

Separated at birth...?

It's getting all Dreamcasty up in here...
October 9, 2025 at 2:58 AM
I gotta be honest with you, I was never down with Ronin O'Brien here. Not as bad of a design as that yucky yokai who likes to eat people (geez, and I thought Earthquake was gross!), but still not one of the memorable Samurai Shodown designs.

Montezuma's Revenge featured two characters as its lead... Pedro (left) and Panama Joe (right), who looks like Indiana Jones as played by Tom Selleck. Most versions of the character in-game look more like Pedro than Panama Joe, but on the Master System, you were definitely getting Panama Joe.
