Most Americans agree we need to get money out of politics. If that takes a constitutional amendment, then that's what we have to do. And if that's going to take years, then it's all the more reason to begin pushing now.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

how many repubs would run for re-election if insider trading was expressly forbidden?

reminder that House is being paid for doing nothing, at Mike Johnson's command. Not one has volunteered his/her salary to food banks, as SNAP for Nov still in jeopardy.

NO, the ballroom is NOT being privately funded. The corporations that accept government funds by way of taxpayer dollars is then being used to claim it is donated by the private investors / owners. That isn't money from out of the investor's pockets, that redirected taxpayer funds being used.
