Did a Best-Selling Romantasy Novelist Steal Another Writer’s Story?
Tracy Wolff, the author of the “Crave” series, is being sued for copyright infringement. But romantasy’s reliance on standardized tropes makes proving plot theft tricky.

Public education is the backbone of American democracy.

In the richest country in the history of the world, we cannot abandon our teachers and our public schools.

Republicans want to slash Medicaid — a death sentence for thousands of Americans. Medicaid provides health care to more than 37 million kids, funding for 2/3 of seniors in nursing homes & is 40% of the revenue for community health centers.

We must EXPAND Medicaid, not cut it.

Our current health care system is not designed to provide quality care to all people.

It is designed to make huge profits for insurance & drug companies.

In that sense, the system is working very well.

But it is not working for the average American.

We need Medicare for All.

In the 1970s, Alaska capped the number of commercial fishermen, in an effort to make the industry more profitable.

Since then, Native villages have lost huge numbers of permits, depriving residents of the chance to catch fish for a living.

The last skipper in Ouzinkie: How Gulf of Alaska villages lost their Native fishing fleets
A system designed in the 1970s was supposed to make Alaska’s commercial fishing industry more sustainable and more profitable. But over the last 50 years, it has hollowed out many Indigenous coastal v...

Thats the point. If Unions become a solution for non-union, healthcare for small/medium businesses, the profile of Unions change immediately and the quality of care options go up immediately for those non union workers

Won’t be easy. Wouldn’t happen fast. But it would be game changing
This would be great, but most Americans don't have a union job! But universal health care would be best. Def a human right.

It has been observed before, and I agree, that “we can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both.” A party of democracy has to open its doors and make membership more than just giving an online donation

Donold is blaming a plane crash that killed 67 people on “DEI” with zero evidence.

He is attempting to use racism to deflect from the fact it is HIS fault. He had just removed 100 FAA senior officials.

It’s been 11 days and there are 67 bodies in the Potomac in Washington DC because of him.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Call me crazy, but I always feel like the best revenge is doing the right thing. Particularly when it's the alternative to someone who has zero interest in doing what is right
What if the right thing here IS vengeance?
You do it because the race for mid-terms started Jan 21st. Either the Dems believe in doing the right thing for Americans or they believe in vengeance. I don't think we need another party of vengeance.

People will feel the downside of Trump's policies. Dems need to welcome them. Not shun them
