Bad Bunny winning Album of the Year at the Grammys was “a breathtaking moment,” Brady Brickner-Wood writes. The Puerto Rican superstar dedicated the award to “all the people who had to leave their homeland, their country, to follow their dreams.” newyorkermag.visitlink.me/mzcGyo
How Bad Bunny Saved the Grammys
At a ceremony that got things uncharacteristically right, the Puerto Rican superstar claimed the top prize and criticized Trump’s deployment of ICE.

In a win for voters, a Utah judge struck down the state’s GOP-drawn 2021 congressional map, ruling it unconstitutional for diluting the voting power of non-Republican voters.

The map must now be redrawn in order to facilitate fairer elections in 2026.

Schumer: No fucking way.

U.S. taxpayers have spent $24 billion on Netanyahu's horrific war in Gaza. Instead of starving children, that money could pay for:

700,000 public housing units
500,000 low-income kids receiving health care
500,000 veterans receiving VA care
600,000 kids in Head Start

Combined.

In the 50s/60s, America saw unmatched GDP growth, booming wages, and a thriving middle class—while the top marginal tax rate was 91%. If we truly want to “Make America Great Again” economically, history shows the way: invest in all, and ensure the wealthiest pay their share.

Cashing in on human suffering is obscene!

In New Mexico, more than 30 people got pacemakers they didn’t even need—so a hospital, a doctor, and a manufacturer could line their pockets. Predatory doesn’t even begin to cover it. Biotronik kept the scam alive with kickbacks to the provider.

The Trump administration's decision to slash nearly all U.S. foreign aid has left dozens of water and sanitation projects half-finished across the globe, creating new hazards for some of the people they were designed to benefit, Reuters has found.
