It seems like there might be a hole at 2B for the giants, but I’m liking what I’m seeing from Schmitt. Good approach at the plate, going opposite way, loud contact. The timing on his swing looks locked in. I don’t know who you would add that’s going to be much of an upgrade.

Why did Jung Hoo Lee go there? That was hit hard to the left fielder and he should have been out by a mile. A bad throw means it was close, but a serious baserunning mistake. Instead of runner on third with one out, you have runner on second with two outs.

It’s just tough to see a really good outfielder take a brutal injury in April, on a play that’s extremely important for the game, but not that important for the season. I hope Robles is ok.

It’s tough because the game was on the line, the ball was down the line. If it bounces fair, the game’s over. If it bounces foul, the at-bat continues. The game almost ended anyway with the catch and the runner tagging. And then the giants walk it off anyway with the next batter.

That Robles catch was one of the most spectacular catches I’ve ever seen. No regard for his safety. Full scorpion into the netting. I really hope he’s ok but he might have broken his wrist.

I cannot get a top 5 pick to save my life. Draft positions this year: 8th, 15th, 12th, 13th. I don’t mind drafting that late and taking Lindor, Vlad, Julio or Yordan but I’d love to have a share of Witt, Gunnar or Judge.

I really want to do a 4x4 ottoneu league this year, that was one of the best leagues I’ve ever participated in. Too bad it didn’t make it out of its first year.
