NIH has rescinded its scientific integrity policy. Hard to see this as anything other than clearing the way for shoddy research on things like vaccines. Regardless of the rationale, it's bad news for public health.

Cuts to research and indirects will directly affect the economies of big urban centers and small university towns all over the US. The goal is clearly not to save tax payer money or improve the lives of citizens. It will dismantle the pipelines that support discovery and improve health. #lunacy #NIH
