Good to know. I tried it many years ago back when shows like that were still on Netflix and I just couldn't get through more than a few episodes. Reassuring to know I made the right call to never look back after that.

I actually just watched it for the first time a few weeks ago myself. It's great, and James Cameron's cut adds an added layer of depth to the story. I do think it's interesting how Ridley Scott and Cameron each portray the xenomorph (the perfect killing machine vs dangerously large insects).
