I know there is so much happening, the social contract of America is gone, but my heart breaks for the end of National Service. It was and is an incredible honor to be AmeriCorps, NCCC, VISTA. It taught me so much…. Mostly it taught me a lot about hope.

Today they “quietly” ended National Service. AmeriCorps. NCCC. VISTA….. long live the domestic Peace Corps - A Thousand Points of Light will remain lit.
