Inclusive research is important because if a question isn’t studied, we can't know if there's a relationship.

Here's the difference:

1. No association was found between x and y based on evidence.
2. We haven't tested if there's an association between x and y, so we don't know if one exists.

It is difficult to manipulate or control an educated woman. I can attest to this from lived experience.

Being able to critically review information and validate it or at the very least stop to question it is irreplaceable.

It is also a transferable skill. This is why education is essential.

PM Trudeau’s care for Canadians shone through his tenure. He will be missed.

As a Canadian, I was proud of the way all liberal candidates carried themselves; however, Mark Carney is an excellent candidate and I look forward to his leadership of the Liberal party.

Introducing our new Liberal Leader, Mark Carney!

I’m disappointed in this narrative speaking about PM Justin Trudeau in this light.

If political parties proposing leadership in Canada cannot respect one another on these platforms, they will lose trust of the people they aim to serve.

Please do better.

Below is my statement on Justin Trudeau’s resignation.

If you oppose callous Conservative cuts.

If you oppose the rich getting richer while everyone else falls further behind.

If you’re ever questioning whether your voice matters. Please don’t question. It does. Whether it is as a voter, advocate, or expert on a topic- your voice matters.

If enough stand up & bravely advocate for equality, justice, & empathy then maybe we can shift the tides to create a tsunami of hope.

Empathy is a strength. Empathy has never been nor will it ever be a weakness.

Women have fought for every right we have & now, those rights are under attack more than ever. From reproductive freedom to workplace equity, progress is being rolled back. Women’s history is still being written & we must ensure it moves forward, not back.

For those who don't know a K01 is a training grant for early career researchers. Typically 4-5years to help them launch their research careers. It protects up to 75% time for research. Rescinding awarded K level grants is throwing a grenade into an already tenuous research pipeline.

I am uncertain why PubMed is presently down BUT if you require access to databases like PubMed there are other options such as: OVID (Embase/Medline), SCOPUS, Web of Science, CINAHL, IPA, Cochrane Database.
If a paper is not accessible, email the corresponding author.

This is going to be a big problem.

Not typically on pubmed (a free online database of medical literature) on Saturday nights but heard it was down and had to check for myself.

Okay, so.

I don’t know how much of a heads up this is when it’s just a notice about these 2 mutations. Do they really raise serious concerns about “increased transmission?”

Sort of. It’s more complex than D701N & E626K, omg pandemic bird flu.

What do these mutations do in H5N1?

We cannot allow the deaths of children from vaccine preventable illnesses to be normalized in the U.S. in the same way that deaths of children from gun violence have been normalized.
Children DO NOT need to die from preventable causes. We owe them full and healthy lives!
