Last week, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced a $20 billion package to rescue the Argentinian economy.

Too bad that it's basically a gift for one hedge fund manager with ties to Bessent himself.

Before you give someone power in your life — or your country — ask one thing: Do they have the character to be trusted, and does it align with your values?

It’s not politics. Its personal.

The White House blamed exposure to environmental toxins, poor nutrition and increased screen time for a decline in Americans’ life expectancy Thursday.

"Targeting Krebs is ... about leveraging the power of the state against a someone who had the temerity to insist that the truth was true. Calling for an investigation of Krebs is flatly authoritarian, perhaps more so than any other example of Trump going after his enemies."
I felt compelled to write about Trump’s attack on Chris Krebs, one of the most (though not the most) authoritarian steps that Trump has taken.

Wow. The incompetence...
In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Also MAGA: If Trump declares an entire federal agency "lunatics" he can do away with it and all the funding it distributes without bothering to inform Congress, let alone requiring any action.

TRUMP: I don't think so. Not when it comes to fraud. If there's fraud. Those people are lunatics.
