Not a major fan of this band, I only know a few of their songs.
The song popped into my head at 8am when I had to rewash an item of clothing in the washing machine.
For the past 3 hours it's been playing on my neural radio.
I quite like it.🙂

Lovely shot.
I could do with a bit of North Sea air and the best fish and chips in the entire UK.

I suppose that comes with growing up in 'Gen Subculture'.
If you liked one thing, you could openly like anything different.

I've gone through all that again in recent years post late ASD diagnosis, working out what I liked in all areas vs what I liked to fit in.
Conclusion: I belong in the 1920/30s

Nice find.
My best pal and I played S&G covers at the school folk club from the age of 12.
It was like a musical dirty secret to like them (and John Denver), so my first record token album/own money was SLF's Inflammable Material.
I hid my S&G and JD tapes from my other pals.

Some great songs in there written by some of the best around.
My parents weren't into music, they had about 6 LPs between them, so I had to wait till I was 12 before I had money for records.
Even then it was Christmas and Birthday record tokens from my mother's siblings who all were music obsessed.

Beautiful photo of Glen Quaich.
I've been a frequent visitor in recent years and it's beginning to compete with Glen Lyon as my 'peaceful place'.
However, I suppose I can have more than one.

Great read to start my somewhat late day.
Plenty to think about.
What didn't kill me was why I drank, until I learned to ask better questions.

Thanks, as always, I enjoyed that.
A few years back I came across an article that translated into English the place and hill names throughout the glen where Lochs Voil and Doine are.
The Gaelic names turned out to be very descriptive.

Yes, I appreciate your work, it's worth every penny I've paid over the last 10 years.

However, I did hit a problem today; MS Edge Smartscreen made me jump through several hoops to deem your desktop app as safe during a fresh install.
That's a new experience😜

My Mrs worked for BA in the 90s so I could get £20 return flights to London on staff travel.
I had a couple of close school pals in Kilburn back then too for a place to stay on my monthly visit to the smoke.
BA had a staff travel dress code, so my £30 Rowans suits got a fair amount of use.

Looking forward to it Paul.
Life imitating art.
I had my own Rowans suit in '95, I found theatre ticket stubs in the pocket from Berlin in 1967. Grey with skinny lapels.
Wore it to a gig in the Dublin Castle, while down in the smoke hawking demo tapes to labels.
I still have the jacket.

I enjoyed that.
Chimed with me regarding recovery from the 'ism' and living in a rural area.
