We've also got to start recognizing that EVs aren't *the* answer, they're just a small part of it. We require a substantial shift in how people get around in general. More trains, more bikes, more public transit, more walkable areas.
This might have been the case in 2016 when there weren’t a lot of EVs on the road, but the reality now is that Tesla’s just one of many companies producing EVs, and as you can see, Tesla’s sales have been sagging as new competitors come online.
