For those unfamiliar, the concept started as the opposite of a Quality Start. When the pitcher just goes out there and shits the bed. A Quantity Shart.

The beginning definition was pretty simple. A start with no more than 6 IP, and a minimum of 6 ER.

Ok, looks like we might be getting to a critical mass of former users of that bird site coming over here. Frankly, I more or less despaired for The Quantity Shart Project all of last year. Was getting no traction on insta or threads. Time to re-start the Shart for 2025? Spread the word.
