This finding reveals a novel computation with implications from single-cell dynamics to system-level activity.

We uncovered how a positive experience strengthens perceptual memory. During learning and NREM sleep, the amygdala and a cortical top-down circuit coordinate their activities, enhancing perceptual memory. A collaborative work with @jojolab.bsky.social et al., doi.org/10.1016/j.ne...
