We have been doing that in Los Angeles since the start and you've seen the result. Peaceful protests, ignored, villainised, and assaulted by law enforcement. Police departments here refusing to interfere and providing support. Troops deployed. What's the support from the rest of the nation?

The weakness of the article is that this isn't just a collapse due to age or unknown forces. It's an intentional result of reactionary forces tearing out the underpinnings of the constitutional system. It's not like these weren't openly stated plans and design.

I get the point, but it's a terrible, passive article. It's not like this is just happening for some unknown reason. It's no hidden conspiracy. It's a host of coordinated, reactionary, bad actors, including the the whole of the GOP. This is the intended plan, not some by-product.
