Every reporter in that room should have immediately interrupted him and declare that it was incredibly disrespectful to call her stupid, multiple times, and demand an apology and tell him that that kind of behavior will no longer be tolerated. If not forthcoming, just walk out.

Political will will nvr rise 2levels necessary 2meet long term/near term goals. 2 think that we will “technology” r way out of this is naive because that itself will require the will 2invest, implement and then deploy the solution.
