Entirely unrelated: I can't figure out why I find Moira Kelly delightful in The Cutting Edge and One Tree Hill but unbearable in The West Wing. #thewestwing #westwingrewatch

Jason Mantzoukas brings exactly the chaos I'd hoped for, this week's pillow task is a great example of him being capable of winning but choosing chaos instead. I love @taskmaster.tv series 19!

Fatiha El-Ghorri is bringing incredible energy to @taskmaster.tv series 19. Her making fun of Matthew whining about scraping up his back was one of my favorite moments this week.

Just heard an obscure ringtone while in the airport and my brain instantly thought of Noel Fielding and Alex Horne as dancing shrews, thanks @taskmaster.tv

The question isn't whether #Sinners is a good movie; it's if Sinners is the best film of the 21st century. Zandria Robinson joins in to talk with me about it. We have a spoiler free discussion for those you considering the film, then a deep dive on the movie and its themes later. Links below.

Second read of 2025 was a fun break from what's happening in the world. Yes I have quibbles, particularly about the first 10 chapters, but overall I really enjoyed reading it and can't wait to discuss. #onyxstorm #fourthwing #ironflame #empyrean

So ready! #onyxstorm but seriously no spoilers 'til next weekend because I am, in fact, a grown up with responsibilities.

Verdict on pistachio hummus: very good, but not a core flavor option for me

Pistachio hummus?? I'm intrigued.

Disassociating with old @taskmaster.tv episodes... watching Greg and Alex panic as they think Lou Sanders is going fall off the Knappett did make me giggle.

Oh apparently proper etiquette is to share what I'm currently reading #booksky NF - Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men F - Monsoon Rising

What would use as the collective noun for croissants? A crown of croissants? A coronation of croissants? A cloister of croissants? A carriage of croissants? 🥐

First read/listen of 2025 was The Monk of Mokha by Dave Eggers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the story was compelling but the coffee background details occasionally dragged for me. Audiobook experience was very good.
