Tennis fan. Ostapenko and others.
My first guess would be because of the non-Indo-European languages?

Of course, Hungarian scientists of the time were indeed aliens from outer space (as per Leo Szilard).

So I assume Grumpy Carol 8001 was eventually greenlit after the exec's CarolBot LLM assistant pointed out that with 8000 previous versions already made, this must be a good and safe idea that no one could be fired for

Um.

I assume the company logo will be something in the same vein as the below classic?

The story has similarities to the first season of House of Cards (the Netflix series).

Which was based on a UK TV series from 1990.

Which was based on a novel written by a Conservative party politician in 1989.

Which was to some extent based on stuff that had actually happened.

Not exactly a phrase or saying, more of a tone of voice you have when you are about to discuss some facet of the tennis world that you are not entirely happy with - for example talking about the Miami fan experience a couple of years back.

Oh, how about Sutton Wot.

I know I'm not much of a Sutton Wit, but I would still suggest Sutton Wet.

In no way a silly name - just consider it an alternative spelling of some Old English word meaning "to know" or such.

Oh dear. Entirely down to my faulty neurons that appear to have created an unintentional combination of bogans and Vogons 😭

The scene: a dystopia. The life: a struggle for survival.

Madmen, algorithms, howling winds.

AI surveillance drone, hovering above.

AI surveillance drone, suddenly taken out.

Taken out in a burst of Bogon poetry.

Taken out by a group of marginalized, alienated loners.

Poets.

All the Norwegian accents must be a sign - time to move towards Scandinavia.

May I suggest Astrid Lindgren's Brothers Lionheart?

I had three players in mind this could apply to, this comment filtered one out (unless you meant historically)

Ahh. NachOS.

One of the things it did do well is prepare the student for the real world: how much time will be spent debugging arcane user errors that have no relevance to operating system concepts, as opposed to actual development

Man, Dementieva looks the same as she did 15 years ago. Meanwhile I think I look 30 years older since then

The one thing I don't entirely disagree with her is the jaded coaches ring moving from job to job

so the time elapsed between 185 mph hurricanes: 53 years, 17 years, 14 years, 6 years

Human brains find patterns even when they don't exist, but I really don't like the pattern my brain just conjured up

I think the progress of electronic record-keeping goes a bit like

Until 1990: archives incomplete due to storage being expensive
1990-2010: pretty good archives
2010 onwards: archives incomplete again because "it's on the Internet anyway, just link it" (proven false by 2025)

For extra points, only reverse the traffic flow on half the entry roads.

Also consider adding signs informing motorists that "to optimize the traffic flow" the roundabout will switch to clockwise right-hand traffic Monday to Friday, 7-9 and anti-clockwise right-hand traffic from 15-17.
